General Information

YWCA Dash and Bash is an event to celebrate the powerful mission to empower women and eliminate racism. This FUNdraising event brings together our community by encouraging individuals and teams of 6+ co-workers, family members, friends, corporations and civic groups to make a powerful statement and provide support to fuel the important work of the YWCA in our community. A fun 5K and 10K walk or run, this is an event for the competitive, for those enjoying a fun, impactful run and even for kids to show their support in a 1-mile dash.

There is no registration fee but the event and mission are fueled by each of us donating and asking others to support our impact to empower women and eliminate racism.

In case of challenging weather conditions:

We can't control the weather but unfortunately we know that racism and sexism exist rain or shine. Because of our mission, we will walk and run rain or shine. If there are unsafe conditions, we will provide updates for all participants on the main page of the Dash and Bash website www.ywcadashbash.org. A little rain won't stop us but unsafe conditions will put us on hold.
